Reunion of Friends!

Sol had the opportunity to see some friends of ours (from Dubuque, Iowa) at the NACAC conference in Seattle! They worked together at Clarke College for two and a half years, but they will be our friends forever! Here is a picture of them 4 years ago...

This is a picture of my Beta Alpha Psi accounting group participating in a community service project back in April of 2007. As an organization we are required to do a certain number of community service hours each semester and this is us cleaning up one of Pullman's parks!

I don't think enough can be said about the importance of having good friends!!

New House!!

We are buying a house!! After much saving, Sol and I have put an offer on a house. We are so excited and will be homeowners later this month. I think this officially makes us permanent Pullman people. :D

New Hair Cut

I decided to cut my hair! The hair cut technically is over a week old, but Sunday, September 14th was the big debut because I don't see too many people during the week.

Most importantly, I wanted to share with my family that doesn't get to see me everyday!

Moving On

Well, after 20 months of serving in the PU3 Singles Ward, Sol and I were released today. Shortly after finding out, Sol text me to confirm that we were being released and told me to prepare my testimony. I think it was his nice way of saying bring a box of tissues because it could be a rough day! It was definitely hard to say good bye because there are so many wonderful people we have come to love and look forward to seeing each week. However, we know there will be wonderful things in store for us and we believe the singles are in good hands.

Our 7 Year Anniversary!!!

Seven years has gone by so quickly!! We were married on August 4, 2001 in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Through our 7 year journey we have lived in Iowa, Idaho and Washington. Here are a few of our highlights....

We met at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa. While the school wasn't a good fit, it definitely holds a special place in our hearts because it brought us together! It is so interesting how things work out! We have continuously felt the Lord's hand in our lives as we have moved from place to place.

We are particularly drawn to beautiful mountains and Temple Square. We didn't have to think twice about where we wanted to be sealed! While this isn't the best picture, it is what was taken after we were sealed together in the SLC Temple.

I have been so blessed to have such an incredible companion! Thank you for the wonderful 7 years. I am so much in love with you and I am looking forward to eternity!!

"Junkin"

Today I was going to lunch with a coworker and noticed these windows sitting outside a glass shop. I went into the shop to see if I could buy them and she said I could have them for free!! Now I know some of you are probably wondering why I would want someone else's junk, but they actually make very cool wall hangings with alittle help!
